A studio, not a template shop. One person who answers.
I'm Jason Lee, building in Pretoria for the businesses this city runs on.

Who you'll deal with
I'm Jason Lee. I've been building with computers since I was eleven, starting with a Raspberry Pi. My dad got me into building websites, and in 2026 I started JLC Studio to give local businesses, small and large, an online presence as good as the work they do.
I still love sensors and robotics: wiring up something that measures the world, then turning what it collects into something useful. It's the same thinking behind the AI side of the studio.
I also run Bot Bench, a robot vacuum repair bench in Pretoria, so the advice you get comes from running a small business too.
JLC Studio does two things. It builds beautiful, custom websites that people remember and Google can find. And it builds AI that answers calls, replies to enquiries and follows up, so fewer leads go cold. Both are for small businesses, from plumbers to accountants.
Everything is built from scratch. No WordPress themes, no page builders, no template with your logo dropped in. Your website is often the first thing a customer sees before they call. A site that looks like it cost R1,500 tells them what to expect.
The studio is small on purpose. You deal with the person who designs and builds the work. Prices are published, and the phone number on this site is the one that answers. If something isn't a fit, you'll hear that on the first call.
Four rules.Kept on every project.
Prices on the page
Every package and rate is published. A quote follows the card, line by line.
No promises we don't control
Nobody controls Google's rankings or your customers' decisions. We'll tell you what's likely and why, never guarantee it.
You own what you pay for
Domain, design, content and data are yours. If you leave, everything goes with you.
Built to last after launch
Fast, maintained and editable by you, so the site still works in its third year, not just its first week.
Want to see the work?Three websites, each built from scratch.
Each one designed for the business it serves.
